Everything a subscription business needs to bill, collect and support its customers now lives in one place. This is the first update in your newsroom; here is what you have, and where to start.
WBAMS is the system that stands between your products and your customers' money. It issues the invoices, takes the payments, renews the subscriptions, answers the tickets and shows you, at any moment, how the business is doing. You are reading this in the client area, which is exactly what your customers will see: their services, their invoices, their tickets and their updates, on one clean screen.
What is switched on today
Out of the box the workspace already handles the whole cycle: a catalogue of products and plans with billing cycles and setup fees, invoices that are generated ahead of each due date and chased politely when they are late, a client portal with a payment-method vault, a ticketing help desk with departments and canned replies, a knowledgebase, and this newsroom. Taxes, currencies and payment gateways are configured, not coded.
Set a saved payment method once and an invoice settles itself on its due date. Nobody has to remember anything.
Three things to do this week
Add your first product. Open Products/Services in the control panel, give it a name, a price and a billing cycle, and it appears on the order form immediately. A product group keeps related plans together on one page.
Connect a payment gateway. Stripe, PayPal, Mollie and bank transfer are ready under Settings › Payment Gateways. Enter the keys from your gateway account and a test order will take you all the way to a paid invoice.
Make it yours. The Content Manager holds the logo, colours, header and footer of this client area, and builds the public pages section by section, without touching a template.
When you need a hand
The documentation at docs.wbams.com follows the control panel screen by screen. Every page in the control panel carries a Documentation link to the article that explains it, and the Updates section you are reading is where we will tell you what has changed and why.
You can edit or remove this update from Help Center › Updates. Welcome aboard.
